What is SPJ?
The Oklahoma Society of Professional Journalists Professional Chapter supports working journalists across the state. The chapter is a chapter of the national Society of Professional Journalists. Membership supports local and national journalism efforts.
Supporting Oklahoma Journalism
The Oklahoma SPJ Pro Chapter works to advocate, educate and create opportunities for journalists. Whether it is working to ensure access to public documents or helping reporters learn more about specific topics, the organization strives to build the capacity and quality of Oklahoma journalism.
Cultivating Future Journalists
The local chapter is of SPJ Region 8. We continue to work to increase our membership and provide networking opportunities for media professionals and journalism students with our members.
